Gong bath: Bringing love and light into 2026

Join Gwen Davies for a special one-hour gong bath in the beautiful Light Centre, Monument.

This small-group gong bath is for anyone who would benefit from:

• grounding themselves in this moment, after a season that can pull us in many directions

• reflecting on their desires for 2026 (perhaps that’s a resolution, or perhaps it’s to invite in more joy and love)

• gently shining a light on anything that’s blocking their way or holding them back, so that we can move forward with calm clarity.

You will be surrounded by like-minded people, but there’s no pressure to share. The practitioner is always happy to answer questions or discuss your experience at the end. 

People new to sound work are welcome. You don’t need to bring anything except yourself, but please wear comfortable clothing and aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before the start time.

Safety information

Vibrations from the gong can be strong. This group session is not recommended for those who:

• are in the first trimester of pregnancy

• have had surgery, or broken a bone, and are still in the initial recovery period recommended by their doctor

• have ever had a seizure triggered by sound

• have a metal plate in their body that was inserted less than 12 months ago

• have recently experienced hallucinations or flashbacks caused by mental ill-health

• would find it uncomfortable to lie on a yoga mat for an hour.

If you’re in the second/third trimester of pregnancy, you have tinnitus, or you’re sound sensitive, you may wish to sit further from the gong.

If you wear a hearing aid, it’s recommended that you remove it during the session. It can produce an unpleasant ringing sound.
